IGTR is set up at Ahmedabad under agreement between Govt. of India & Germany. The main objectives of the Tool Room are to manufacture complex and high quality tools, organizing professional, long and short term training courses in the field of tool and die making etc. The Tool Room is looking for following persons in the respective fields and invite applications for filling up the following positions on contract basis. |

(1) DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate qualification in Engineering/ Technology/ Management from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 10 years experience in Production / Training Dept. of a Tool Room / reputed Engineering industry of which 7 years in a responsible Technology / Management position.
Experience Preferable : Management of Engineering Projects, experience in use of Computerized MIS, CAD/CAM and CNC Technologies etc.
(2) SENIOR MANAGER (PRODUCTION/ PPC)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate / Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 8 years experience in Production / Training / Design Dept. of a Tool Room / reputed Engineering industry of which 5 years in a responsible Technology / Management position.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in Tool Production / Tool Design. Experience in use of computers for Production Planning , MIS, Cost Accounting etc. Experience in Tool Production using CNC machines, CAD/CAM Technology etc.
(3) SENIOR MANAGER (TRAINING)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate / Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 8 years experience in Production / Training / Design Dept. of a Tool Room / reputed Engineering industry of which 5 years in a responsible Technology / Management position.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in planning HRD programmes, conducting training courses, seminars etc. in Tool & Die making, Tool Design or equivalent. Experience in use of modern teaching aids.
(4) MANAGER (System Administration/CAD/CAM)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design/ Production/ CAD/CAM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 5 years experience in Production / Training Dept. of a Tool Room / reputed Engineering industry.
Experience Preferable :
Practical experience in design of Tools i.e. Moulds and Press Tools etc.
Practical experience in use of CAD/CAM, CNC Technologies for Tool Design and/or Production.
(5) SENIOR ENGINEER (DESIGN & QC)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production, CAD/CAM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 3 years experience in Tool Design, Production using CAD/CAM & CNC Tech.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in designing of moulds, dies, press tools etc. using CAD. Practical experience in quality control of tools and components.
(6) SENIOR ENGINEER (PRODUCTION)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production, CAD/CAM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 3 years practical experience in Tool Production using CAD/CAM and CNC Technologies/ Maintenance Department of a Tool Room/ reputed engineering industry.
Experience Preferable :Practical experience in use of CAD/CAM for tool design and programming of CNC machines. Practical experience of working on CNC machines/ preventive maintenance of sophisticated tool room machines.
(7) SENIOR ENGINEER (TRAINING)
Qualification Essential : Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production, CAD/CAM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : 3 years practical experience in Tool Production/ Designing/ Training in Tool Room & Training Centre. Exposure in CAD/CAM.
Experience Preferable : Experience in the use of modern teaching aids.
(8) ENGINEER (DESIGN & QC)
Qualification Essential : Degree/ Diploma in Tool & Die making/ Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design, Production, CAD/CAM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Essential : Nil for Degree and 3 years for Diploma holders in Tool Room/ recognized Technical Training Institutions.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in designing of moulds, dies, press tools etc. using CAD. Experience in QC Dept.
